Stay Active and Motivated As The Weather Cools Down

I hope you’ve been having an amazing 2023 so far! Can you believe we’re already in the final stretch of the year?

Well, get ready because fall is here… Cooler temperatures, more foliage, and the chance to snuggle up in cozy clothes.

No matter what your autumn jam is, there’s no need to let this season mess with your healthy groove. In fact, I see it as the perfect opportunity to take stock of your progress, make some fun tweaks, and dive into something new.

So, let’s dive into some awesome tips to keep you on the fitness track as the weather gets cooler and the days shorter:

  1. Get Outdoors: Don’t go into hibernation mode! The crisp air makes outdoor workouts so inviting. And trust me, the fall foliage is practically begging you to take those walks, jogs, and bike rides, whether in your town’s trails or the countryside nearby.

  2. Embrace Fun: Why not switch things up? Apple picking, leaf-raking, or a family hayride-it all counts as healthy movement and quality Vitamin D time.

  3. Try Something Fresh: Been thinking about exploring a new workout style? Grab a friend, and let’s dive into the unknown together. It’s an adventure waiting to happen!

  4. Goal Check: Take a quick peek at your goals. If you’re nailing them, high-five! Keep that awesome momentum. If there’s room for improvement, now’s the time to make some magic happen. We’ve still got a little over two months of the year to make waves.

  5. Stay Hydrated: Boost your hydration game with seasonal fruits and veggies-they’re loaded with water! And don’t forget that trusty reusable water bottle as your sidekick.

  6. Treat Yourself: Small victories deserve a celebration. Reward yourself with a cozy evening by the fireplace or a shopping spree for new workout gear.

Fall is the season of transformation, and it’s the perfect time to keep those positive health and fitness vibes rolling. Embrace the change and the beauty of nature, and let it fuel your journey toward awesomeness.

PS – November is National Epilepsy Month and I joined the Epilepsy Foundation of America’s 30-Mile Walk Challenge to help support the advancement of epilepsy research. I was diagnosed with epilepsy after a near-death accident in my twenties and am grateful to be alive and well today inspiring others to live a happy & healthy lifestyle.
